About the Acumatica ERP Implementation

PSI Family Services, Inc. went live with Acumatica 2017R2 on January 1, 2019.

Advanced Financials (GL, AP, AR, CM) and PC Bennett Payroll were selected as the best tools to help PSI manage their business and handle their continuous growth.

When DataQuest began the conversations with PSI Family Services, the client was utilizing three different systems for their accounting and ERP needs. This project’s main goal is to replace Deltek, Costpoint, and Sage 300 ERP systems with Acumatica ERP. In addition to this consolidation, Acumatica also needed to provide integration with their in-house social services management systems. This project was undertaken for several reasons. The major goals of this project were:

• Improve reporting and visibility for PSI staff
• Improve PSI Services’ accounting software to provide a single source of financial data
• Provide integration with Staffworks, DCMH, and PSI (formerly ASI) Management Systems
• Faster closing of the books each month

This was a great team effort from PSI Family Services, DataQuest team members and Acumatica Team members.

Challenges

This implementation timeline was extremely ambitious and there were certainly challenges along the way. The entire project team knew at our late September kick-off that we were setting very aggressive goals for a January 1 go-live. It was rewarding that we were able to achieve an on-time, on-budget go live. The integrations from in-house systems to import staff time, AP bills, and AR invoices and payments are working well, reducing manual and redundant input.
